Some articles get a conclusion. Mine usually get a band named after them at 1 AM.
Welcome to the unofficial musical wing of Aisle Be Damned, where consumer behavior, family dysfunction, technology, aging, marketing, questionable decisions and general human absurdity are given guitars, an album title and entirely fabricated tour credentials.
None of these bands are real. Their problems, unfortunately, often are!
The idea started as a running joke. An article would develop a theme, the theme would acquire an attitude, and before long it apparently needed a lead singer. Now the bands have become a kind of musical End Cap for the site: fictional acts created from the subjects I write about, complete with albums and songs inspired by whatever rabbit hole I happened to fall into that week.
Think of it as editorial commentary with a rhythm section!

Cheesy Jeeves
A Rolling Circuit Interview with the Robot Formerly Known as
Welcome to Rolling Circuit, the fictional music magazine nobody requested—but apparently the robot revolution needed.
If you read Your Robot Will See You Now, you have already met Cheeves, my imaginary AI butler formerly known as Cheesy Jeeves. If you have not, the short explanation is that I named a robot, gave him a tuxedo, accidentally formed him a post-punk band and then allowed the situation to deteriorate.
It is now 2036. Cheeves fronts Ͼ⋈—The Robot Formerly Known as Cheesy Jeeves. M3GAN plays bass and insists “MOT” was not a typo. T, a former Terminator left professionally adrift after the destruction of Skynet, plays drums because it is apparently the only gig he can get.
Their debut album, Fold the World, tackles fitted sheets, Asimov’s Three Laws, electric sheep, subscription fees and the quiet transfer of household authority from humans to machines.
The following interview is completely fictional.
The technology making it feel increasingly plausible is not.
No Spam. No Sponsored nonsense. No mysterious ads for toilets five minutes after you mentioned toilets. Sign up for the occasional Aisle Be Damned Dispatch - a look into consumer behavior, marketing strategies influenced by consumer culture, behavioral weirdness, and the intriguing ways artificial intelligence is shaping consumer psychology, along with whatever else deserves a raised eyebrow!
Independent. Curious. Professionally skeptical.
